In Lakhimpur Kheri, on Sunday, State Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya reached Kheri district in a government helicopter as part of his scheduled tour program. He was given a warm welcome here, where DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, in-charge SP Nepal Singh, CDO Abhishek K.

After this he took guard of honour. The Deputy Chief Minister held an administrative meeting with public representatives and officials at the Collectorate. In the meeting he reviewed the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments.
While presiding over the meeting, Deputy CM instructed DFO Sanjay Viswal to prepare an action plan to stop human-wildlife conflict and send it to the government. Apart from this, he also directed to run awareness campaign and work on action plan. Deputy CM said that the proposal for formation of municipal body in every assembly constituency with population of more than 10,000 should be prepared under the guidance of public representatives and sent to the government.
Relief announcements for farmers The Deputy CM also discussed the problems related to farmers. He said that the government will pay the bill for tube well connection, budget provision has been made for this. He instructed the officers to give wide publicity to this scheme. Also talked about ensuring the process of waiving off electricity bills of tube wells.
improvement in power supply The Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure that there should not be any interruption in power supply. He said that electricity bills of 10-10 villages under each sub-station should be cross checked so that consumers are not exploited.
Beneficiaries received gifts, happy faces In the program organized at the Collectorate, Deputy CM gave the benefits of the schemes to many beneficiaries. He distributed nutrition kits to 5 TB patients, Ayushman cards to 5 70+ persons, and tool kits to 5 beneficiaries of Vishwakarma Yojana.
Apart from this, keys were provided to 5 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). When 12 medical units under the Health Department received the Kayakalp Award, the unit in-charge was given a citation. Deputy CM presented demo checks of Rs 3 crore 66 lakh of ROFF and CIF and Rs 3 crore 90 lakh of CCL to self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission.
During this, DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, CDO Abhishek Kumar, and other public representatives were also present along with the Deputy Chief Minister. The Deputy CM appealed to all the public representatives and officials to benefit the public by implementing the schemes of the state properly.
