Balrampur depot has once again restored the stopped bus service to Sirsia. In view of the increasing demand of passengers, operation of buses started on this route from Sunday. Along with this, 48 ​​buses will be operated from the district as part of special preparations for the Kumbh Mela.

Preparation of 48 buses for Kumbh Mela

The Transport Corporation is preparing to put 48 buses into service from Balrampur depot to the Kumbh Mela area. Of these, 44 old buses are being painted in saffron colour. Apart from this, a demand has also been made for new buses so that the passengers do not face any kind of inconvenience. In November last year, the daily income of Balrampur depot was Rs 16 lakh, but in November this year it has come down to Rs 12 lakh. The increase in the number of buses during the Kumbh Mela is expected to improve the income.

Service restored on Sirsia route

The bus service connecting Balrampur to Sirsia via Bardauliya was stopped a week ago. Keeping in mind the demand of passengers, operation of buses on this route has been resumed. Assistant Regional Manager Harish Chandra Dixit said that if the income and passenger numbers improve then the bus service on this route will continue regularly.

Recruitment of new driver-conductor

To increase bus operations, new drivers and conductors will be recruited on contract. In this regard, information banners have also been put up in the bus station premises. The Transport Corporation is continuously making efforts to provide better services to the passengers. The buses painted in saffron color will look attractive and will be a part of the special experience for the Kumbh Mela travelers.
