Elon Musk claims to be a “time-travelling vampire alien”, with his profile showing verification since 3000 BCE.

Elon Musk, the richest person ever, sparked a chatter on social media, this time with a bold and humorous claim. The Tesla and Space X CEO referred to himself as a “time travelling, vampire alien”. Soon after this, many start digging deeper into his X (formerly known as Twitter) profile and one user noticed that the billionaire’s profile on the microblogging platform has been verified since 3000 BCE.
How did it all start?
The buzz began when Elon Musk shared a meme at around 2:30 am ET which clocked over 7.6 million views. The meme says: “Would you believe it. My neighbour was knocking on my door at 2:30 this morning. Luckily, I was still up, playing my bagpipes.”
It means that the neighbour knocked at the odd hour out of annoyance to complain about being disturbed. However, the humor lies in the irony that the person, in this case Elon Musk, admits to playing the notoriously loud bagpipes.
An X user, who uses the handle “@soursillypickle”, replied to this, jokingly asking, “You don’t sleep because you’re a vampire?” They also attached a screenshot of Musk’s comment to a post where he admitted to being a “3000 year old vampire”.
Doubling down on the joke, Musk replied, “I’m a time-traveling vampire!”
When another X user, Diana Dukic, said that she thought Musk is an “alien”, he immediately corrected himself to “time-travelling, vampire alien”.
Elon Musk’s profile verified since 3000 BCE?
An X account “DogeDesigner”, who came across the playful exchange, went through Musk’s profile and shared a screenshot with the caption, “Elon Musk’s X Profile says he has been verified since 3000 BCE. Yesterday, he posted that he is a time-travelling, vampire alien.”
The post went viral and caught attention of the man himself. In response, he confirmed it, quipping, “Even though I’m 5000 years old, I think I look much younger.”
When we went through Elon Musk’s X profile, we found that his profile has been verified “since 3000 BCE”. It also says that the account is verified since it is an affiliate of X on X.
The “3000 BCE” verification appears to be a deliberate addition by Musk to his profile to with the humorous context of his “time-traveling vampire alien” persona.
Elon Musk, who campaigned for former President Donald Trump in the recently concluded US election, has changed his bio to “The people voted for major government reform,” after people voted the Republican Party candidate to power.
