First day of workshop on singing knowledge of Gwalior Gharana At the beginning of the program, students of Sangeet Kamal Sansthan gave a classical presentation of Ganesh Vandana. On the first day, Pandit Jayant Khot, a famous artist of Gwalior Gharana, taught singing techniques in Raga Bhopali, Raga Yaman and other ragas. He especially trained in songs like Tarana, Ashtapadi and Tap Khayal.

Sangeet Kamal Sansthan, Lucknow organized a two-day workshop for young music artists.

Ashtapadi singing training was given in the workshop President of Sangeet Kamal Sansthan, Rahul Awasthi said that the main objective of this workshop was to give high level singing ability to the music students. In the workshop, intensive training was given in singing the bands of Gwalior Gharana like Khayal Tapakhyal and Ashtapadi.

Contribution of accompaniment and students in music In the workshop, Shravan Yadav on harmonium and Dr. Harshit Mishra on tabla gave excellent accompaniment, which impressed everyone. Students of the institute including Abhishek Tripathi, Rahul Choudhary, Harshit Mishra, Neha Rawat and Akshay Awasthi also participated in this workshop.
