On Tuesday morning, a farmer committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Madhpura village of Indergarh police station area of Kannauj. The deceased was identified as 45-year-old Pappu Sharma. Family members say that he was very upset due to a notice received from the court.

Pappu Sharma was upset after getting notice in molestation case Vikas Sharma, son of the deceased, told that two days ago a notice was received from the court, in which a case of molestation and rape was registered against the deceased Pappu Sharma, his brother Awadhesh Sharma and nephews by their aunt Soni. The lawyer had told that in this case everyone may have to go to jail. Due to this fear and fear of humiliation, he was mentally broken.

The family members became worried when he did not return for a long time. Meanwhile, villagers informed that his body was hanging from a tree near the field. Police reached the spot, brought down the body and sent it for post-mortem.
