The excitement is building as the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) are just around the corner, and the competition is fiercer than ever. With Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Sabrina Carpenter leading the charge as top finalists, this year’s awards promise to celebrate the most influential artists in music. The event will be hosted by Michelle Buteau, bringing her unique comedic flair to the stage. Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 12, when the show airs at 6:30 am on Fox and Fire TV Channels, with on-demand streaming available on Paramount+. Plus, you can catch performances and updates on Billboard.com and the BBMAs’ social channels.
Returning to its roots, the BBMAs will air on Fox for the first time since 2006. Fans will also have easy access through the Fire TV Channels app, exclusively for Amazon devices, and Paramount+ for those who prefer to watch later. With breathtaking performances, interviews, and celebrations happening across global locations and tours, this year’s ceremony will feel like a world tour in itself. As an added treat, artist Shaboozey is set to perform live from W Hollywood, part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, while other performers will be revealed soon.
Celebrating achievements across 72 categories, the BBMAs honour top artists, albums, and songs based on Billboard’s year-end performance metrics. These metrics are drawn from music consumption data tracked from October 28, 2023, to October 19, 2024, making it the most comprehensive music award show of the year.
