Recently, she took to Instagram to highlight her latest collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana and SKIMS, a collection that combines vintage Italian style with SKIMS’ comfortable shapewear. But Kim’s latest fashion venture has attracted some negative attention from fans online.
In a series of stunning photos, Kim posed in a white lace lingerie set. She paired it with sleek straight hair and a matte nude makeup look. The vibe was minimalistic yet daring. But there was one detail that caught everyone’s eye which was a rosary necklace resting around her neck. While some praised the outfit, others felt that the holy necklace wasn’t befitting with the overall look.

Social media quickly became divided over Kim’s bold look. Many argued that pairing the rosary necklace with her lingerie was disrespectful.
One user commented, “Please don’t play with the Holy Rosary,” while another said, “Why is she always wearing the cross when she’s half naked…like wtf.”
Someone else wrote, “I don’t feel right with a rosary and this type of photo shoot.”
A person questioned, “Wearing a cross while being half naked. Would you make a mockery out of other religions too?”
Criticism continued to pour in with many users urging her to reconsider her choice of accessory.
An individual sharply wrote, “Take that rosary off! It is not jewelry!”
Another pointed out, “Rosaries aren’t necklaces. They are prayed in your hands. They aren’t cleavage adornments!”
“This is blatant disrespect. Would you do this to any other religion?” one comment read.

Kim’s latest post may have sparked controversy but it is not the first time she has come under fire for her fashion choices. At the LACMA Art+Film Gala earlier this month, the reality TV star and fashion mogul once again made a bold statement with her attire. Kim turned heads in a custom-made white Gucci gown that highlighted her toned physique and featured a daring plunging neckline.
However, this time as well it was her accessory that sparked conversations. Kim wore the Attallah Cross pendant, a beautiful piece previously owned by Princess Diana. The necklace, with a square-cut amethyst and surrounding diamonds, was purchased by Kim for approximately $200,000 at a Sotheby’s auction last year.
While the pendant was undeniably beautiful, it also raised eyebrows as many questioned whether it was fitting to pair a sacred symbol with such bold outfits.
