Naga Chaitanya is set to marry Sobhita Dhulipala next month. He was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
New photos of Naga Chaitanya with his wife-to-be Sobhita Dhulipala are doing the rounds amid Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s new interview about their divorce. Chay is all set to marry Sobhita next month. The couple has been preparing for their wedding from August this year, following their engagement. Although the couple has been private about their relationship, a new set of photos have given a glimpse of their bond.
In photos going viral on social media, Chaitanya and Sobhita were seen posing with Sushanth Anumolu and his family. The photos, which were shared by Sushanth on the occasion of Chay’s birthday, showed the soon-to-be married couple holding each other close while the pose for photos. It is unclear if the couple met Sushanth on Chaitanya’s birthday or if the photos were previously taken.
However, the photos are doing the rounds of the internet and grabbing more eyeballs after Samantha’s explosive interview. Speaking with Galatta India, Samantha addressed the subject of her divorce head on for the first time. “Unfortunately, we live in a society which is so patriarchal in nature, that anytime something goes wrong, a woman gets subjected to… I’m not saying men don’t, men do, but a woman gets subjected to a lot more judgment and a lot more shaming, not just online, even in real life,” she said.
The actress revealed how untrue things were said about her during her divorce and how this fuelled the online abuse. However, she was determined not to let the lies define her. “Many things were said about me that were absolutely untrue. But what held me back, I remember having this conversation with myself when things were really, really crappy and they were really, really… absolute lies were being spread. And there were many times when I wanted to come out and say, this is not true, let me tell you the truth,” she admitted.
Samantha hasn’t commented on Chaitanya’s second marriage yet. Naga Chaitanya will marry Sobhita on December 4. He and Samantha were married for almost four years. They announced their separation in October 2021.
