Indian Express quoted a source and wrote – ‘He is returning to India due to serious personal reasons and will join the team before the second Test. Gambhir has cited personal reasons. The Indian team will go to Canberra on Wednesday, 27th November, where Team India will play its second practice match against Prime Minister-11 from 30th November. At present, the Indian team is leading 1-0 in the 5 Test series.

Training under the supervision of Nair and Morkel In the absence of Gautam Gambhir, the Indian team will train under the supervision of other coaching staff.
