Three special investigation teams formed on the instructions of the Health Minister found that Dr. Devendra had taken bribe from a pregnant woman for surgery. After the investigation revealed the doctor’s negligence and dereliction of duty, action was taken against him.

Health Minister’s strict message: Health Minister Brijesh Pathak wrote on (X) account, “Doctor Devendra, involved in corruption, has been suspended with immediate effect.” He also made it clear that no laxity will be tolerated in corruption cases and strict action will be taken against all the culprits.

ACMO shrugged off: After the suspension of Dr. Devendra, the ACMO posted in the district hospital expressed ignorance of the matter. He said that he has not received any order related to suspension. However, despite the minister’s instructions, the response of the local administration has made the situation more serious.

There is deep anger among the villagers and patients after the incident. People have demanded transparency and corruption free services from the health department. He says that such cases weaken the trust in government health services. The Health Department has said that any kind of corruption or irregularity will be taken seriously. The department has clarified that the objective of this action is to improve health services and provide better facilities to patients.
