“I was sure of being selected, but I could not believe the number one rank at all,” Ujjwal Kumar said. He is currently posted as a Block Welfare Officer.
Speaking about his past, Kumar, who became the BPSC topper shared, “When I was studying in Class 10, some relatives often used to say that this boy was not a student. I was not weak in studies. Even after I left my job after engineering, my relatives scolded my parents a lot. But my parents and siblings kept faith in me.”
Ujjwal Kumar achieved the top rank in the BPSC examination, having studied in the Hindi medium. “In the last 10 years, no student from the Hindi medium has become the BPSC topper,” he said.
