All the disabled and leprosy pension beneficiaries of the district have been instructed to link their pension accounts with Aadhaar. District Disabled Empowerment Officer Rajan Kumar said that the payment of the upcoming installment for the financial year 2024-25 will be on Aadhaar based basis.

Rajan Kumar told that all the beneficiaries should link their pension accounts with DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in the respective banks. After this, ensure to get the Aadhaar authentication done by attending the office of District Disability Empowerment Officer, Vikas Bhawan, Ballia and submitting the documents of Aadhaar card and pension account number.
The District Officer clarified that if the beneficiaries do not link their accounts with Aadhaar on time, the upcoming pension amount will not be transferred to their accounts. There is an appeal to the pensioners to complete this process as soon as possible so that the pension amount can be received uninterruptedly. This scheme is an important step to provide financial support to the disabled and leprosy beneficiaries.
