The funeral procession of Dr. Vishakha Tripathi will start from Prem Bhawan located in Prem Mandir complex and will reach Shyama Shyam Dham, the old ashram of Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj, passing through Ramnareti, in front of ISKCON temple. From here it will reach Yamuna bank via Banke Bihari, Vankhandi, Loi Bazar, Retia Bazar, Chungi Square, Ranganath Temple. Where the last rites process will be carried out.
16 maunds of five types of wood will be used
Five types of wood will be used in the last rites of Dr Vishakha Tripathi. It will contain Peepal, Gular, Mango, Tulsi and sandalwood. Apart from this, pure desi ghee from 21 Pipa cows will be used in the last rites. During the funeral procession, apart from 1100 kg flowers, Makhana etc. will be poured on his mortal remains. A large number of followers have reached Vrindavan to participate in the funeral procession.
Security arrangements will be in place during the funeral procession
There will be tight security arrangements during the last journey of Dr. Vishakha Tripathi, elder daughter of Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj. Vrindavan Kotwali in-charge Ravi Tyagi said that apart from the CO, 5 police station in-charges, more than 10 outpost in-charges and constables will be deployed.
