In protest against the attack on the revenue team in Shikarpur tehsil of Bulandshahr, the accountants of Sayana tehsil staged a strong protest in the tehsil premises on Wednesday. The accountants gathered under the banner of the Lekhpal Association, raised slogans and demanded strict action against the culprits.

Accountant sitting on strike, work stopped Lekhpal Association President Gaurav Kumar said that all the lekhpals are protesting while fasting from work. He said, “The attack on the revenue team is highly condemnable. Strict action should be taken by registering a case against the culprits.” The accountants sitting on strike said that if strict action is not taken against the culprits soon, the agitation will be further intensified.
The Lekhpal Association has made it clear that it is the responsibility of the administration to ensure the safety of revenue employees. During the demonstration, the accountants said that if strict steps are not taken in such cases, the morale of the employees will be broken.
Fighting during measurement in Shikarpur This case is of November 18, when the revenue team that had gone to Shikarpur for land measurement was attacked by the accused. Accountant Mohit Sharma said that there was a deadly attack on the team, which is a challenge to law and order.r
