There was a stir when the dead body of a young man was found in a mutilated condition on the side of the railway track near Talbehat railway station located on the Jhansi-Lalitpur railway route late on Wednesday evening. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem.

On Wednesday evening, the police received information about the dead body of a young man lying in a mutilated condition on the railway track between Talbehat railway station and Bijrautha station on the Jhansi-Lalitpur railway route.
Kotwali in-charge Inspector Anurag Awasthi reached the spot and took the body into custody. During this time, on the basis of the Aadhaar card found with the deceased, he was identified as Pankaj Gupta, son of Ram Kishore Gupta, resident of Majra Ranipura Ghoda, village Talbehat, village Khandi. The police immediately informed the family members about this. The family members reached the spot. Prima facie, the youth is suspected to have committed suicide.
