Justin Greaves, returning to the team after 10 months, played an inning of 115 runs in the first innings for West Indies.
The Bangladesh team had to face defeat by 201 runs in the first test played on the West Indies tour. In the match played in Antigua Test, West Indies had given a target of 334 runs to win against Bangladesh. Bangladesh team could score only 132 runs. Hurt retired before the last batsman of the team was out.
West Indies is out of the race for the World Test Championship. West Indies has taken a 1-0 lead over Bangladesh in the two-Test series.
West Indies had scored 450 runs for nine wickets in the first innings, in response to which Bangladesh team declared the innings at 269 runs for nine wickets. Bangladesh bowlers bowled out West Indies for 152 runs in the second innings. Bangladesh’s batsmen also could not do anything special in the second innings and the entire team could score only 132 runs in the second innings.
