A youth riding a bike died in a collision with a container on Wednesday night near Sakadha village in Kokhraj Kotwali of Kaushambi. The brother-in-law who was accompanying me in the accident was seriously injured. He was admitted to the medical college for treatment.

The in-laws house of Madanlal Sonkar (35), resident of Ghurpur-Jasra of Prayagraj, is the house of Premchandra, who lives in Kakodha village of Kokhraj. Prem’s son Saurabh had gone to sister’s house in Ghurpur-Jasra. Madan was coming to his in-laws’ house on Wednesday to drop his brother-in-law Saurabh. On the way, a speeding container hit his bike near Sakadha village. As soon as the collision occurred, Madan came under the wheels of the container. While the bastard ran away. Madan died on the spot in the accident.
Meanwhile, brother-in-law Saurabh got seriously injured. The police arrived after the information and with the help of an ambulance admitted the injured to the medical college for treatment. According to police station in-charge Durgesh Gupta, after sending the body for postmortem, the police has started searching for the container and the driver.
