According to the police, Kanchilal and his son Deepak, resident of village Resra Majra Nagla Padam under Chandaus police station of Aligarh district, were going to the flower market of Noida in a pickup car on Wednesday night to sell flowers. The tire of the pickup burst in front of ATS near Raunija village on Yamuna Expressway at around 11 pm. The father and son were changing the tire of the car by parking it on its side. Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit Kanchilal and fled away.

With the help of passers-by, his son admitted the injured to Kailash Hospital in Jewar. Where Kanchilal (40) died during treatment. The deceased’s son Deepak has filed a case against the unknown driver in this regard. Kotwali in-charge Rabupura says that a complaint has been registered in this regard. The accused will be identified and arrested on the basis of CCTV cameras installed on Yamuna Expressway.
