In Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, the junk and valuables kept on the roof of the shop caught fire due to fireworks that were set off during the marriage procession late on Wednesday night. Thousands of rupees were lost due to the fire. Police reached the spot after getting information and the shopkeeper worked hard for about an hour.

According to the information, Danish son Qasim, resident of Om Palace, Gulavathi Road, told that he runs a car paint and mechanic workshop shop near Sainik Dharamshala. He closed the shop on Wednesday evening and went to his home. At 11:00 pm, he received information that the junk and valuables kept on the roof of his shop had caught fire due to fireworks set off during the procession.
When the police and the shopkeeper reached the same information, they saw that all his goods had been burnt to ashes. He brought the fire under control from the neighboring house after about an hour with the help of a summer sable. The victim Danish told that he has suffered a loss of thousands of rupees due to the fire. And told that if the fire had reached the shop below, they could have suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees.
