Sambhal SP Krishna Vishnoi told – On the day of violence, when I forcibly opened the door of a house, more than 20 rioters present on its roof jumped to the other roof and ran away. Therefore, names of those who have locked their houses and fled are being collected. A police team has been deployed for this work.
A large number of police forces are still deployed near the mosque.
SP said- Some houses in the area behind Jama Masjid are locked. Police believe that all of them are accused of violence. The owners of these houses gave shelter to the rioters in their homes and then they climbed on the rooftops and pelted stones at the police.

We are finding out from which route the crowd gathered. There is Hafizwali Mosque at the rear of Jama Masjid. A crowd gathered through this mosque road. This has been revealed from a drone footage. Actually, there was no police patrol on this road.
Police say that those houses whose locks are hanging will be accused of violence.
The miscreants took advantage of this and gathered here in large numbers. They first pelted stones and then set fire to it. When the police dispersed this crowd, the crowd returned via the same route. There is also a suspicion that when this mob went back from here, after some time the same mob started pelting stones in another area, Nakhasa.
Information about planning found from the mobile of the accused Police found shocking information while investigating the mobile phones of these accused. After scanning the WhatsApp chats of the accused, it was found that on November 24, when the announcement of completion of the survey was made from the mosque and the water from the toilet came out, the rumor of digging of the mosque spread among the people. Messages of this rumor circulated on WhatsApp and this anger took the form of violence.
Police have also received an audio from the mobile phone of the accused. In which they are using the codeword ‘goods’. They are saying to come near Jama Masjid with your luggage. Goods refer to weapons. Three accused have been arrested in this audio episode.
A video of the day of violence is going viral. In this, a woman is seen throwing stones from the terrace.
Children were also involved in violence Children and women were also involved in large numbers in this violence. The three boys caught by the police are 14 and 16 years old. Whereas the age of 10 accused is between 19 to 25 years. One accused Mohammad Babu is 72 years old.
Police said- Most of the miscreants were very young. Out of the 21 arrested, 8 accused are from Jama Masjid area, the remaining accused are residents of other areas.
The police claim that the accused had come from 6-7 kilometers away to commit violence. The three youths who died in the violence were also not residents of Jama Masjid area. He had come here from a long distance.
