In Hapur’s Garh Kotwali area, a young man took a photo of a woman who had come to her maternal home and edited it and made it viral on social media. During this time, when she protested after getting information, the accused threatened her. When Panchayat was held in the village in this case, the accused youth was asked to cut his overgrown hair.

The woman resident of the village has come to her maternal home from her in-laws’ house. Two days ago, a young man from the same village took a photo of the woman with his mobile. After which it was edited and posted on social media. Knowing about this, the woman and her family reached the young man’s house with a complaint. Where the accused misbehaved with her.
On getting information about the matter, a panchayat was held between both the parties in the village. In the Panchayat, it was decided that the young man should apologize to the victim and get his overgrown hair cut. But the young man flatly refused to get his hair cut. After which the matter reached the police station.
CO Varun Mishra says that on the basis of the complaint the youth has been taken into custody. Action will be taken after investigation.
