Varanasi artists along with foreign artists gathered
This program organized in Varanasi has been organized under the joint aegis of Culture Department, Uttar Pradesh and Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi. In which cultural dances of their respective countries were presented by artists from Sri Lanka, Slovakia, Iraq and Colombia. Minister Anil Rajbhar said that through this program cultural, art and dance exchanges are taking place between the two countries. A very wonderful program is taking place, this will improve the relations between the country and the artists will get to learn and know something.

Dance performance based on Kumbh
The program was started by the local artists of Varanasi in which Mangalacharan was performed by the students of Panini Mahavidyalaya and dance drama based on Kumbh was performed by the troupes of Soni Chaurasia and Shivani Mishra. The Sri Lankan group presented four forms. The first form of which was Naga Raksha. The second was the Sri Lankan folk dance, the third was the Thilam dance and the last was the drum ensemble.

A Colombian group called Colectivo Colombia projected the beautiful fusion of Colombian music with universal sounds, showcasing the immense diversity and richness of Colombia’s musical heritage. The colectivo was led by maestro Antonio Arenado, a renowned Colombian saxophonist and composer with an extensive career, famous for blending Colombian folk music with jazz. Lalita Sharma conducted the program from the stage.
