This will mean that more and more children will be able to get job offers in placement.

At the same time, according to IIT BHU training policy, companies will also have to issue waiting list. So that if someone leaves the offer, the next student in the list gets selected. Head of Training and Placement Cell, Prof. Sushant Srivastava said, the placement will continue till 8th December. The policy of one student and one job is applicable this time also. According to the timing of foreign companies, the interview process continues throughout the night.

More than six multinational companies will take interviews

For the first time in IIT BHU, three students have got an annual package offer of more than Rs 1 crore each in pre-placement. These three students are from Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering. Multinational companies have given these offers to students doing internship. Last year, in the pre-placement and placement drive, more than 200 companies had given job offers to 1285 students. So far, around 250 companies have been finalized for placement in IIT. They will give job offers to the youth after the interview. This time more than six international companies will also select the youth. In such a situation, students are expected to get better packages.

This was the placement record in the last 5 years

If we talk about statistics in BHU IIT, tremendous placements have been seen in the last 5 years. In the session 2018-19, 172 companies gave placement to 837 children. In the session 2019-20, 225 companies gave placement to 898 children. In 2020-21, 267 companies gave placement to 780 children. In the session 2021-2022, 316 companies gave placement to 1078 children. At the same time, in the session 2022-23, 326 companies have given placement to 1094 children. A package of Rs 7 lakh was given in PPO placement in the session 2022-23. At the same time, after the interview, a package of Rs 1 crore 20 lakh to Rs 15 lakh was offered.
