The Women’s Premier League Auction 2025 will be held in Bengaluru on the 15th of December as the five teams look to rebuild their squads with a budget of 15 Crore Indian Rupees each.
The auction pool will include a number of illustrious names in the world of women’s cricket such as Heather Knight, Nadine de Klerk, Lauren Bell and Sneh Rana after they were released by their respective sides.

Holders Royal Challengers Bengaluru head into the auction with a purse of Rs 3.25 Crore and four slots to fill, while champions of the inaugural edition of the tournament Mumbai Indians take Rs 2.65 Crore into the auction with four slots to fill too.
Losing finalists in both editions of the event thus far, Delhi Capitals, have Rs 2.5 Crore in their kitty, while Gujarat Giants, the receivers of the wooden spoon in each of the two iterations of the T20 extravaganza have te biggest purse at Rs 4.4 Crore and four players to pick up.
UPW are the only team that has just three slots to fill with their remaining purse of Rs 3.9 Crore.
The first season, which was entirely held in Mumbai was clinched by the Mumbai Indians led by Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, while the second iteration of the tournament was held in Bengaluru and New Delhi, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru led by star Indian batter Smriti Mandhana.
