But by then two shops were completely burnt to ashes and the goods sold in them were also burnt. The victim shopkeeper told that he has suffered a loss of lakhs.

The spark came from the welding shop

Shopkeeper Vikas, the victim, who runs a shop in Barhadwari market, told that he owns broom and disposable shops. On Friday evening, his neighboring shopkeeper was welding outside. Due to this, sparks went inside his shop and caught fire.

He told that he had already refused many times to the neighboring shopkeeper to do welding in the open, but he did not agree. Due to the negligence of the accused shopkeepers, his shops were completely burnt down, causing a loss of approximately Rs 40 lakh.

The victim shopkeeper said that the fire brigade was immediately informed when the accident occurred. But the fire brigade vehicles arrived after about an hour. Three vehicles came and after a lot of effort, they brought the fire under control. If the vehicles had arrived early, perhaps some of the shop’s goods could have been saved.

The victim has filed a complaint in the police station

After the accident, the victim shopkeeper has filed a complaint against the neighbor at Dehligate police station demanding action. The victim says that due to the negligence of the accused, his shop caught fire and he suffered loss. Therefore he should get compensation and action should be taken against the accused. The police is busy investigating the matter.
