Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have reunited for a hilarious new commercial promoting a steel brand. After their quirky Jawan-inspired ad in 2023, this trio is back, blending their iconic film personas in a side-splitting scenario.
The ad, shared by Rungta Steel’s official handle, reads, “Ghar ki Mazbooti ka Ekdum Solid Raaz- Rungta Steel TMT Bars” (translated: “The ultimate secret to a strong home – Rungta Steel TMT Bars”).
In the ad, Alia’s Safeena (Gully Boy) hilariously complains to Shah Rukh’s Dr. Jehangir (Dear Zindagi) about her on-screen husband, Ranbir’s Bunny (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani). “Ice laane bola tha, Ladakh chala gaya. Pucha phone pe itna busy busy kyu hai? To kya bola? Mountains were calling. Ab pahaado ke saath koi gulu gulu karega toh dhoptuingi hi na isko!” she vents, echoing her fiery Gully Boy charm.
Ranbir’s Bunny cheekily defends himself, quoting his iconic line, “Doctor, main udna chahta hoon, daudna chahta hoon, bas iss ghar mein rukna nahi chahta.” But his quirky excuse for breaking the roof—“Uss din sunset dekhne chhajje pe chadha, toot gaya. I don’t feel safe”—leaves everyone chuckling.
Shah Rukh’s Dr. Jehangir steps in with his iconic calmness, prescribing Rungta Steel as the ultimate solution. “Isko ghar pe lagaaoge toh shaadi ka toh pata nahi par ghar pakka nahi tootega,” he advises, sealing the deal with his signature charm.
This isn’t the first time the three have tickled fans’ funny bones. In October 2023, they recreated Jawan’s iconic hostage scene with SRK in his titular role, Alia channeling Shanaya from Student of the Year, and Ranbir as Barfi. That ad saw SRK quip about wanting Alia as part of his demands, much to fans’ delight.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh and Alia shared the screen in Dear Zindagi, while SRK had a cameo in Ranbir’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Fans are loving their effortless chemistry in these ads, making them the ultimate trio to watch.
