Khajuria resident Shyam ji Mishra told that on September 7, 2024, when he was out of work, miscreants attacked his house. His wife, elder brother Kesari Nandan and his son were beaten. The wife’s mangalsutra was snatched away, and son Gaurav was hit with an iron rod. The bullies also broke Gaurav’s bike.
The victim kept circling the police station, did not get a hearing
After the incident, Shyam ji Mishra lodged a complaint at Gaura Chauraha police station, but the police did not register the case. The victim repeatedly visited the police station, but when there was no hearing, he had to resort to the court.

After the intervention of the court, the police registered a case against Dukhharan Pandey, Udaychand Pandey, Santosh Pandey, Pappu Pandey, Anil Pandey, Satish Pandey, Shiv Shankar Pandey, Gayatri Pandey and three unidentified people.
Investigation continues, police statement
Inspector Satyendra Kumar Verma, in-charge of Gaura Chauraha police station, said that a case has been registered on the orders of the court. At present, the investigation of the case is going on. He assured that the investigation will be fair and action will be taken against the culprits.
