The victim, a resident of Kolkata, West Bengal, in her complaint sent to the SP and others on November 20, said that in the year 2019, she had contacted a youth from Mahuadomar, resident of Bhabhani area, through social media. Through this, a love affair developed between the two and marriage was decided.

It is alleged that after this the accused called the victim and called her sister-in-law. From here he took her to his home. Established a relationship with her, keeping her at home like a wife. From here he took him to Bangalore. During this time she was given abortion medicine. In the year 2022, when he started going abroad in search of work, he was sent to his home in Bhabhani area. When he returned after two years, he started harassing her. In September, when the girl insisted on getting the rights of a wife by getting married, the young man blackmailed her for several days by making an obscene video. Started threatening to make the video viral. The victim complained about this to the Chief Minister, DGP, SP and the Women’s Commission.

Additional Superintendent of Police Tribhuvan Nath Tripathi said that a case has been registered in Babhni police station. The victim, a resident of Kolkata, has alleged that a youth resident of Mahuadomar village of Babhni police station area kept her at his village house for the last three years. He kept having relations with her on the pretext of marriage. Based on the complaint of the victim, a case was registered at Bhabhani police station. Further action is underway.
