Bought land worth lakhs in wife’s name According to police records, Alam alias Kallu, resident of Thangaon Bhadeva village of Sitapur, started committing crimes in the year 2011. He acquired properties by forming gangs and committing criminal activities and by occupying lands. Till now, 17 criminal cases including theft, attempt to murder, molestation and rioting are registered against him in Lucknow and Sitapur. Due to this, Vikasnagar police station took action against him under Gangster Act. Under Section 14 1 of the Gangster Act, the JCP Law and Order Court on Friday issued an order to confiscate Alam’s crime-acquired property worth Rs 35.50 lakh. Gangster accused Alam had purchased .134 hectare land in Kondri, Sitapur against his wife Soni in 2015 for Rs 1.50 lakh. Whose price nowadays is four lakh rupees. In 2014, 46.67 square meter land was purchased in the name of Soni in Dudoli, Madianv for Rs 6.50 lakh. At the same time, in Faizullaganj of Madianv, 91.078 square meters of land was purchased in the name of his wife Soni. Whose price is around Rs 25 lakh.
