Allahabad High Court has called for reply regarding the police recruitment of 2016 of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board. Court normalized 125 vacant posts of reserved category in Police Sub Inspector Civil, Platoon Commander PAC and Fire Service Recruitment of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board in 2016.

Justice Piyush Aggarwal has given this order on the petition of Akash Kumar and others. The petitioner says that the Recruitment Board advertised 3307 posts. The petitioners were found eligible in the written examination including physical efficiency and document verification. But they were not included in the final result list declared on 28 February 19. The petitioners are dependents of freedom fighters and former service men. Posts of this category cannot be carried forward. 125 posts are vacant. On which the applicants should be selected and appointed.
