In Sultanpur on Thursday night, a brother-in-law shot dead his brother-in-law. The incident took place in Jackfruit orchard located in Shastri Nagar of Kotwali Nagar. He was hurriedly taken to the district hospital by his family members. Where the doctor declared him dead. On receiving information about the incident, hundreds of locality residents gathered there. Prima facie it appears to be a matter of family dispute.

Superintendent of Police Somen Burma, ASP Arun Kumar Singh, CO City Prashant Singh reached the hospital and took stock. The CO said that the brother-in-law shot the brother-in-law in a family dispute. He was brought to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. Advance legal action is being taken by filing FIR.
The accused had come from Delhi for the wedding today
