Questions raised on RTO administration Local people say that accidents are happening continuously due to trucks parked on the highway side, but the RTO administration is not taking any concrete steps in this regard. A few days ago, a similar accident took place in Kalyanpur police station area, in which three people lost their lives. Despite this, the negligence of the administration continues.
Chances of accidents increase During the winter season, vehicles parked on the road are often not visible due to fog, which increases the possibility of accidents. Police said that the families of the deceased have been informed and the matter is being investigated. Kotwali in-charge Tarakeshwar Rai said, “Two youths have lost their lives and one has been injured in the accident. Both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. We are investigating the matter and have also contacted the RTO regarding the vehicles parked on the highway. Will demand action.”
