After a two-year journey, Adele’s Las Vegas Residency was concluded over the last weekend at the Colosseum.
Adele’s iconic Las Vegas Residency concluded last weekend after an unforgettable two-year run. Spanning over a hundred performances, the residency featured stunning visuals, including water pools, pyrotechnics, waterfalls, designer gowns and even a vanishing act. The grand finale took place on November 24 at the Colosseum Theatre at Caesars Palace, leaving the singer deeply moved. Over the past two years, the residency has been filled with unforgettable moments, from powerful music to captivating experiences.
Among the many events from the Las Vegas Residency, one moment remains very fresh in everyone’s mind when the singer took a stand for a fan. Earlier in August 2023, Adele stopped her concert midway to defend one of her fans who was being bothered by the security guards. Several videos of the idol pausing the show during the performance went viral online.
It was during a concert at the Caesars Palace when Adele was singing Water Under the Bridge when the incident took place. Instantly pausing her song, she took the mic, pointed it towards the audience and schooled the security. “What is going on there with that young fan? Why is he being bothered so much since I came up, for standing up? What’s going on with him? Yes, you with your hand up,” she said.
She further went on to call out her security guards and asked them to stop bothering him. “What are you doing? Why are you all bothering him? Can you leave him alone, please?” she asked them before talking back to the fan and reassuring him that he wouldn’t be bothered anymore.
Following this conversation, Adele also addressed the crowd and apologised for the inconvenience. “Sorry guys. He has been bothered the whole show by the security and other people sitting behind him. He is here to have fun, all of you are here to have fun. Let’s start again,” she said before resuming the song.
Fans widely shared the videos from the concert all over the Internet, with many hailing the musician for her gesture.
Fast forward to now, Adele recently took on Instagram to pen down her emotions after having wrapped the residency. “Well what an adventure! Las Vegas you’ve been so good to me. This residency went on to mirror what 30 was about – lost and broken to healed and thriving! Seems so fitting in the end,” she wrote.
