In the evening, four people including his 30-year-old son Ilyas alias Bablu were sitting at different places outside the factory and making fireworks. Meanwhile, an explosion occurred while mixing potash and other materials. Ilyas was injured in the incident.

On getting information about the incident, the family members reached the spot and brought him to the hospital. SDM Ranjit Singh and CO Vineet Kumar along with SO Vaibhav Kumar inspected the spot. The young man died during treatment in Agra. Confirming the death of the youth, the SO said that Iqbal has a license to make firecrackers.
