The father of three children hanged himself in the basement of his kutcha house in Mahmoodpur Jungle village in Motigarpur police station area of Sultanpur. Seeing the dead body hanging, there was screams among the family members. Police reached the spot after receiving information and sent the body for post-mortem.

On Saturday, the family members screamed after seeing the body of Ramjit Tiwari, son of Bhagwati Prasad (50), resident of Mahmoodpur Jungle village, hanging with the help of a rope. Hearing the screams, people from the neighborhood also reached there. The police reached the spot after receiving the information and sent the body for post-mortem.
Apart from wife Pramila Devi, there is married elder daughter Sweety (24), two sons Ankesh (20) and Ashish (16) in the family. Police station head Motigarpur Praveen Kumar Yadav told that the villager was a drug addict. Prima facie it appears that suicide was a result of family dispute. Further action will be taken when the PM report comes.
