On the call of the Autonomous Government Employees Federation, the employees of Municipal Council, Hathras on Saturday demonstrated by wearing black bands and shouting slogans regarding their demands. Employees demonstrated strongly in the municipality premises regarding their demands.

These are the main demands of the employees-
-Restoration of the old pension scheme.
-Early promulgation of decentralized service rules.
-To start the process of increasing and filling the vacant posts of decentralized service.
-To give the benefit of Deceased Dependents Scheme to the dependents of deceased contractual sanitation workers.
First phase, the movement will be more intense During the demonstration, the workers warned that this was only the first phase of the movement. If the government does not take immediate decision on their demands, the movement will be further intensified. The employees clearly said that if their demands were not heard soon, the agitation would be taken to the state level. This demonstration has made clear the displeasure of the employees in front of the administration.
