Balrampur A one-day free cancer screening camp was organized in the district hospital on Friday under the joint aegis of Lakshmi Medical Store and Sanjeevani Cancer Care Foundation. Dr. Vivek Patel, senior cancer surgeon of Sanjeevani Cancer Hospital was present in it.

During this, the main causes of different cancers occurring in different parts of the body, their initial symptoms and preventive measures were discussed. Doctor Vivek Patel also told that cancer is not always fatal. If it is properly treated in its initial stages, one can live a cancer-free life. Symptoms of cancer were found in many patients in the camp, for whom preliminary examination was done and advice was given for further treatment. Various social service organizations and doctors of Balrampur city expressed their desire to participate in similar events in future also.
