National President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Asaduddin Owaisi has given his reaction regarding Badaun Jama Masjid. Owaisi wrote on his baday

He wrote – The case was filed in the court in 2022 and its next hearing will be on December 3. ASI (which works under the Government of India) and the Uttar Pradesh government are also parties to the case. Both the governments will have to present their views as per the 1991 Act. The Hindutva system like Sher’s can go to any extent, it is very important for the peace and unity of India to stop them.

Actually, on Saturday, there was a hearing in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Fast Track Court Judge Amit Kumar in the case of Neelkanth Mahadev vs Jama Masjid Arrangement Committee going on in Badaun. In this, the debate has been started today from the side of the Arrangement Committee. Whereas the government lawyer’s arguments have been completed. The debate of the Muslim side could not be completed today, hence now the remaining debate will be heard on December 3. Whereas in the end the Hindu side will present its arguments.

Since recently there had been violence over the mosque in Sambhal and after that this was the first hearing in the Jama Masjid case of Badaun. In such a situation, this hearing was in discussion. These discussions gained momentum when Owaisi’s statement also came to light.

Mukesh Patel, state convenor of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, had filed a claim to have Neelkanth Mahadev Temple in Jama Masjid in the year 2022. The arguments from the government side have been completed in the court. The report of the Archeology Department has also arrived. Whereas now the Arrangement Committee and Waqf Board are defendant numbers one and two. Today the debate on the Muslim side has started. The point of debate is whether this case is worth hearing or not.
