The court of Special Judge Children’s Court Jitendra Mishra convicted the accused teenager in the case of murder of the groom’s brother-in-law during the harsh firing that took place 7 years ago in Barnhal police station area of ​​Mainpuri.

The court sentenced the accused to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000. The accused was 17 years old at the time of the incident, and 21 years old at the time of sentencing. The accused was sent to jail after sentencing by the court.

Murder occurred during harsh firing

This matter is of March 4, 2018, when the wedding ceremony was held at Akash alias Anand’s house. Rakesh Kumar, the groom’s brother-in-law, had come from Sadabad, Hathras, to attend the event. During the programme, a teenager from Sirsaganj police station area of ​​Firozabad opened fire. During this time Rakesh died due to the bullet fired. The accused teenager had fired the shot from an illegal pistol.

Police investigation and court hearing

The police investigated the case and found the accused teenager guilty. On this basis the charge sheet was filed in the court. During the hearing in the court of the Special Judge, the prosecution proved the accused guilty on the basis of witnesses and evidence. The court found the teenager guilty of Rakesh’s murder and sentenced him to 20 years’ imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000. After sentencing, the court immediately sent the accused to jail.
