In the PGI area of Lucknow, a swindler defrauded a girl of lakhs of rupees by getting her a job as a staff nurse. The victim reached the police station and gave a written complaint against the thug. Police is investigating.

Police said, Manju Lata Patel lives with her family in Charan Bhatta Road, Pancham Kheda. She is working as a nurse on contract in Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Had applied for the post of Staff Nurse in the recruitment in PGI Hospital.
A call came on 25th July. The caller revealed his name as Dr. Arjun Rawat and said that he has applied for the post of Staff Nurse. He does all the work. If you want a government job then give one lakh rupees now and the remaining money after getting the job.
The victim fell into the trap of the swindler. Gave Rs 48000 through phone pay on the given number and gave Rs 52000 on Rae Bareli Road in front of Madhurima Sweet. Manju told that when the results came on October 15, she was not selected.
When the victim asked for her money back, the accused Arjun Rawat refused to give the money and started abusing. Also threatened to kill. Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, the police have said that they will investigate and take action.
