A tractor went out of control and overturned while plowing a field on Friday in Lahariya Purva of Raipura police station area of Chitrakoot. In the accident, uncle Somchandra Yadav (28) died on the spot, while his nephew Bholu Yadav (18) was seriously injured.

Immediately after the accident, the villagers and family members took both of them to the district hospital. Doctors declared Somchandra dead, while Bholu’s treatment continues. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the family and village regarding the incident. Somchandra Yadav was the youngest among his four brothers and one sister. His father Rammurat Yadav supports the family through farming. The entire family is shocked by Somachandra’s death and the people of the village are expressing grief over his untimely death.
Administration started investigation
As soon as information about the incident was received, administrative officials reached the spot. According to initial investigation, the tractor went out of control on the slope, leading to the accident. Police have started investigating the incident. The family is completely devastated by Somachandra’s death. The people of the village have demanded from the administration to provide financial assistance to the victim’s family. The condition of nephew Bholu is said to be critical.
