In the report lodged at the police station, a village resident said that his 10-year-old granddaughter had gone to graze animals in the Katri area, about 2 kilometers away from the house, on Friday. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon the accused youth also reached to graze the animals. They picked up the girl and took her into the bushes. Here the youth molested the girl and tried to rape her. When the girl screamed, the youth ran away.
The girl reached home at 6 pm and told the entire incident to her grandmother. In this case, the police have lodged a report against the accountant and chaiya of Majra Nagla Panna. Police Station Head Anurag Mishra said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused. The case is being investigated.
