In Lucknow, Excise Department, police and administration conducted raids in villages Ramnagar and Veerpur of Mal police station area. During the operation, about 20 liters of illicit raw liquor was recovered, while 250 kg of liquor was destroyed on the spot.

Under the leadership of Excise Inspector Abhishek Singh (Sector-4) and Shikhar Kumar Mall (Sector-6), the Excise team raided suspicious places near houses, gardens and ponds. During this time, a case was registered against an accused under relevant sections of the Excise Act.
Excise head constable Sudhir Kumar, Govind Yadav, Kamlesh Srivastava, Nitin Saroj, Sandeep Yadav and other personnel were present in the campaign. Regarding the campaign, officials said that continuous action will continue to completely curb the illegal liquor trade.

purpose of investigation As per the instructions of the Excise Commissioner and the Uttar Pradesh Government, the objective of this enforcement campaign is to stop the manufacturing, sale and smuggling of illegal liquor. This action was taken under the instructions of the District Magistrate and Police Commissioner.
After the raid, it has been claimed that illegal activities have been curbed in the area. Officials have appealed to the public to immediately inform the administration about any activity related to illegal liquor.
