Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial Animal has completed one year today. The film received an overwhelming response from the audience. And on this special day, he has shared a BTS photo featuring lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The photo has gone viral on social media. Fans have also reacted to it.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared a black and white photo in which Ranbir and Bobby are seen playing in between the shots. “One year of Animal,” read the caption. One of the fans wrote, “Both are in parallel universe.” Another wrote, “Park gonna be mega blockbuster.” Earlier, Bobby Deol also shared photos and thanked fans.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Bobby Deol wrote, “Celebrating one year of #animal ! Abrar’s journey brought me closer to all of you and gave me more than I could’ve ever imagined—love, blessings, and opportunities. Thank you for making this one so special for me.” One of the fans wrote, “Yess aaj bhi yaad hain 1st December ko dekhne gayi thi animal superb aapka role thasuch bolu toh animal aaphi ke wajah se gayi thi bobby bhaiya.” Another wrote, “best film ever.”
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Animal also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Triptii Dimri and Bobby Deol in key roles.
The film went on to become one of the year’s top-grossing movies, and fans were thrilled when a sequel, Animal Park, was announced. Recently, co-producer Bhushan Kumar provided an update on the much-anticipated sequel, sharing that it’s on track to begin production soon. According to Kumar, once director Sandeep Reddy Vanga wraps up his next project with Prabhas, work on the Ranbir-led sequel will start within six months.
For those unfamiliar, Animal faced some criticism for its storyline and graphic violence. However, in a report from India Today, Sandeep Reddy Vanga hinted that Animal Park would take an even darker and grittier approach. While Vanga previously indicated that shooting might begin in 2026, Kumar’s recent statement has sparked excitement with a much sooner timeline.
