A girl sitting in the park in Krishna Nagar police station area of Lucknow was hit by a speeding vehicle, due to which she died during treatment. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the driver and started investigation.

Anita, resident of SS-755, Sector D-1, has lodged a complaint at Krishna Nagar police station. According to the complaint, on November 23, 2024, at around 11 am, his sister Ritika was sitting in the park near the house. Meanwhile, the driver of vehicle number UP 32 LS 5362, driving carelessly and at high speed, came out of the parking lot and hit Ritika from the front.

After the accident, neighbors called 108 ambulance and admitted Ritika to Lokbandhu Hospital. From there he was referred to SKD Hospital, Bara Birwa and then Medical College. Ritika died on 26 November after three days of treatment.
Complaint registered, action ongoing
In her complaint, Anita has demanded strict action against the driver. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the driver. Krishna Nagar police station in-charge said that investigation is going on to identify the driver. Further necessary legal action is being taken.
