The members of the Congress delegation coming to Sambhal have been stopped by deploying police forces at various places. Congress leaders will not be able to enter Sambhal border. The police has also reached the house of the District President and the City President. The police also pasted notices on both their houses.

Today on Monday, a delegation of 20 Congress members was to come to Sambhal under the leadership of State President Ajay Rai and MLA Aradhana Mishra Mona to visit the Sambhal violence affected area and the homes of the deceased. Police pasted a notice under Section 168 BNS at the house of City President Tauqeer Ahmed, resident of Mohalla Alam Sarai of Sadar Kotwali Sambhal area and District President Vijay Sharma, resident of village Mohammadpur Tanda.

Assured to get compensation from the government

Police have been deployed outside both the houses and placed under house arrest. The situation is clear that the police-administration will not allow not only Congress but anyone from any political party to visit the violence-affected areas and the houses of the dead.

The Samajwadi Party delegation was to arrive on November 30, which was stopped by the police administration. But Sambhal SP MLA Iqbal Mahmood had reached the house of the deceased on December 1. He was assured of getting compensation from the government.

The delegation was formed on the 2nd

Congress city president Tauqeer Ahmed said that as far as the departure of the delegation is concerned, when the delegation was made, the date of 2nd was kept because the ban on outsiders was till 1st. In view of the same, delegation was made on 2nd.

The leader of our Congress Legislature is Aradhana Mishra Mona, it is clearly written in her letter that we will reach Sambhal and appeal for peace. The public also listens to the leader. I have talked to the State President and he has said that we will try to reach there.
