Teams from three districts conducted raids This action was taken by a joint team of drug inspectors of Etawah, Auraiya and Kannauj under the leadership of Additional District Magistrate Abhinav Ranjan Srivastava and Assistant Commissioner of Drugs of Kanpur Division in the police station area. Gupta Firm & Company was inspected with the help of police and tehsil administration.
Major irregularities found during raid
During the raid, a large quantity of allopathic and ayurvedic medicines were found stored on the second and third floors of the house. The team also seized equipment and mixers used in the construction. During this time, the team took samples of 11 suspicious medicines and sent them to the lab for testing.
The operator admitted the mistake When the director of Gupta firm, Rajiv Kumar Gupta, was asked for the license, he admitted that he did not have any license. Action was taken on this under the Medicines and Administration Goods Act, 1940. Drug Inspector Rajat Pandey said that after the investigation report of the sample comes, a complaint will be filed in the CJM court. Regional Ayurvedic Officer Santosh Kumar also cooperated in this action.
