The movie Mufasa: The Lion King (Hindi) which is set to release in theatres this Christmas marks the debut of AbRam Khan, who voices young Mufasa alongside Shah Rukh Khan as the adult Mufasa and Aryan Khan as Simba.

Marathi television start Yogita Chavan has sparked a controversy with a social media post questioning why the poster of the upcoming film Mufasa: The Lion King (Hindi) has Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s children, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan’s names written first and in bold above those of established Marathi actors like Makarand Deshpande, Shreyas Talpade, and Sanjay Mishra.

The debate contrasting Bollywood and the Marathi film industry has persisted for years, with frequent laments about the challenges faced by Marathi actors in establishing themselves in Bollywood.

The former Bigg Boss Marathi 5 contestant targeted SRK in an Instagram story and questioned whether Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan’s contributions to the film industry surpassed those of established Marathi actors.

“Shahrukh Khan can understand….but why are Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan’s names in BOLD??? How wrong is it to write the names of other veterans Makrand Deshpande, Sanjay Mishra, Shreyas Talpade as secondary? Of course, the contribution of all of them to the film industry is more than Aryan Khan and Abram Khan,” the Jeev Majha Guntala actor wrote in an Instagram story along with the movie poster.

The story shared by the Marathi actor has gone viral on social media. Yogita has recently participated in the fifth season of Bigg Boss Marathi. However she left the popular show in the second week.
