Katra police station Kotwali in Mirzapur arrested 2 people accused of theft. Goods stolen from the shop and an e-rickshaw were recovered from their possession. Taking legal action, the accused were sent to jail.

Instructed to arrest the accused
On December 1, in Kotwali Katra, Abdul Hasan, a resident of Sabri, gave a written complaint about the theft of shoes and slippers from the shop. A case was registered on the basis of the complaint. Taking the incident seriously, SP Abhinandan directed the Inspector-in-charge of Kotwali Katra police station under the leadership of Area Magistrate Nagar to arrest the accused.
Taking investigative action, Sub Inspector Dhannajay Singh outpost in-charge Shastri, on the information of the informer, arrested two accused Asif son of Mobeen Ahmed resident of Ganeshganj and Sohrab son of Gufran Ali resident of Amanganj. 129 stolen shoes and slippers loaded on an e-rickshaw were recovered from their possession.
