On the night of 17 November, there was a fatal attack on advocate Akhilesh Shukla alias Guddu in Salori area of ​​Prayagraj. After a dispute with the contractor of the Irrigation Department, there was a fierce fight between the two parties. After firing, people who came with the contractor in three vehicles, beat Akhilesh Shukla with rifle butt and rods so much that he became drenched in blood.

After this the attackers left them. Many other people have also been injured in the fighting. The lawyer was taken to the hospital in critical condition from where he was referred to Medanta Lucknow. After this, Akhilesh Shukla died on 21 November. Salori market was closed after the death of the lawyer.

There were preparations for an uproar when the dead body arrived, but the police officers calmed down the matter by explaining. The lawyer’s body was cremated on the morning of 22 November. The District Advocates Association had announced a strike and announced a protest.
